Chelle Noring River Gee County Community Development
Services (Chelle Noring Services) is a nonprofit agency based in Fish Town,
River Gee County, Liberia.
Founded in 2015, the agency began actual program
activities in mid-2016 after an extensive review and analysis of the needs of
the people, families and communities in the county.
The agency implements and supports sustainable assistance
programs that encompass interim case management, community outreach, farming
equipment and material support, and education for children. Other activities include parents-engagement
to send their children to school program, Domestic Violence Empowerment, financial
wellness, emergency assistance and safety-net services, and provides resources
and referral support to health care institutions and available local and
central government resources through advocacy.
The agency also distributes relief items for students, senior and vulnerable families; assists national and international nonprofit organizations, schools, the faith-based community, and other community-based organizations dedicated to working with the citizens and residents of the county by facilitating the development of collaborative partnerships, offering training and workshops, distributing information, coordinating volunteer opportunities, and convening local coalitions to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services.
